What Challenges can be entered in the Sewing Sub-Section?The Toyota Sewing Machine Challenge is a challenge for Students this year:
The winner of this challenge will receive a Toyota sewing machine. Not only that, the students’ school will also receive a Toyota sewing machine. That’s two Toyota sewing machines being given as prizes – what a fantastic challenge! Be sure you are part of it! What Classes can be entered in the Sewing Sub-Section?Open to all ages are the following challenges:
To see the range of other classes you can enter in the Sewing sub-section, refer to the Crafts Expo Schedule. Check out the “Bear” classes in particular. To cater for all levels of experience and ability in sewing, there are competitive classes for non professional exhibitors (have less than 2 years experience), non professionals (with more than 2 years experience), professionals, seniors (65 years and older) and a large section just for schools including Primary, High School and College. What’s Next?Start your sewing projects! Students, start your garment in calico or hessian for your chance to win 2 Toyota sewing machines – one for you & one for your school! Have your entry form submitted by 14 December 2012 (refer Crafts Expo Schedule 2013) and then deliver your creative works on the due date in February 2013. Then come along to the Royal Canberra Show 2013 to see how you fared in the Sewing challenges and join us in celebrating the Centenary of Canberra!
