Premium Classes Classes 54-60 2005 & Older Vintages or Blends of any Age

Synopsis/criteria:

  • Award winning wines only (Regulation 3); award not necessarily in current year.
  • All wines to be named commercial soleros or vintage wines, current or past releases.
  • Commercial name, consistent with the actual or intended commercial label, must be stated for inclusion in the Catalogue of Result.
  • Bottles to be commercially labelled even if specially bottled from the wood.
  • Number of entries per class: no limit.
  • Number of bottles per entry: three (3) 750 ml or equivalent (Vintage Port), two (2) 750 ml or equivalent (classes other than Vintage Port)

Quantity: 1,000 litres or 100 dozen 700+ ml or equivalent bottles

54. Sherry - Fino style

55. Sherry - Amontillado style

56. Sherry - Australian Oloroso (Sweet) style

57. Sweet White - excluding Muscat

58. Muscat

59. Tawny Port style

60. Vintage Port style - bottled. Vintage must be given. Three (3) bottles per entry

Synopsis/criteria:

  • Awards not necessary.
  • Aged mature wines only; immature wines will not be judged.
  • Not necessarily commercial wines.
  • Number of entries per class per exhibitor: no limit.
  • Number of bottles per entry: three (3) 750 ml or equivalent (Vintage Port), two (2) 750 ml or equivalent (classes other than Vintage Port)
  • Awards not eligible for consideration in Open Trophies (Regulation 13).

Quantity:  200 litres or 20 dozen 700+ ml or equivalent bottles

  • Number of entries per class per exhibitor: Award winning wines: no limit. Non-award winning wines: two (2) per exhibitor.
  • Number of bottles per entry: three (3) 750 ml or equivalent (Vintage or Ruby Port) two (2) 750 ml or equivalent (other than Vintage or Ruby Port)

Quantity:  200 litres or 20 dozen 700+ ml or equivalent bottles
